AB  - This paper explores the time management challenges in construction management, emphasizing the prevalence of crisis-oriented work, stress, and burnout. Integrating Takt Time Planning (TTP), a method that establishes production cadence, proves to be transformative in effective construction scheduling. TTP yields benefits like the establishment of flow, enhanced problem detection, and waste reduction. Despite a growing body of research on TTP, there is a notable gap regarding its impact on the ability of individuals to achieve and maintain a healthy work life balance in the construction industry. The focus of this paper is to explore current research and literature to investigate the connection between TTP and its impact on work-life balance and emotional health. Through a literature review and synthesis of information, the authors identified a likely connection between TTP implementation and an improved well-being for construction professionals and their families.
